Your Shopify promotions remain yours#
Encored permits retailer merchandise and shipping promotions. It does not create, retarget or restore your discount codes as part of the current workflow. Country and currency restrictions continue to apply to Pre-Loved checkout.
Read the four amounts#

| Customer paid | Merchandise amount after discounts, separate from payment methods |
| Seller store credit | Agreed selling-price basis multiplied by the captured payout percentage |
Worked example#
A $100 listing receives a $20 merchandise discount. With a 110% credit boost activated, customer paid is $80, seller credit is $110, and the Encored fee basis remains $100. The fixed 10% fee is $10 on that basis.
Shipping, other retail lines and payment methods are separate. Paying with a gift card or existing store credit is not a merchandise discount for this calculation.
Settings are captured at sale#
New sales keep the price, credit percentage and credit amount agreed when the purchase occurs. Later price or boost changes do not rewrite that entitlement. Older sales may have blank discount or rate fields because those values were not captured at the time.
Review your mixed carts#
Test your actual Shopify promotions with new and Pre-Loved products together. Previously restricted retailer discount definitions are not automatically broadened by Encored; manage those definitions in Shopify if needed.
