Set the waiting period#
Open Settings → Returns window. Set Days after purchase to match your store’s returns and exchanges period. The allowed range is 0–365 days. Save the change.
Extra minutes for testing supports shorter test holds. Keep it at 0 for normal operation. With both fields at 0, there is no additional returns hold; the item must still satisfy the other eligibility checks.
What the customer sees#
Sell Items tells the customer when the item can be listed. Once the waiting period has ended, payment, fulfilment, delivery and product exclusions are still checked.
Explain the policy consistently#
Use the same returns waiting period in your seller FAQs and program terms. This waiting period concerns the original purchase. The buyer inspection window is a separate stage after a Pre-Loved sale is delivered.
