Choose the approval policy#
Open Settings → Seller price changes and choose what happens when a seller lowers the price.

| Automatically publish the lower price | Valid seller reductions update the live listing without staff approval |
| Require approval before publishing | A reduction appears in the pending price-changes queue for your team |
Automatic publication is the default. Save the selected policy and explain it in your seller guidance.
Review a pending reduction#
Open Listings and filter for price changes. Review the proposed amount and approve or decline the reduction. Approval updates the Shopify listing price.
Suggested price is a separate setting#
Your pricing formula calculates a suggestion for a listing. The live price-change policy controls approval of seller reductions. Automatic scheduled reductions are outside the current retailer workflow.
