A Shopify order can contain several journeys#
Buyers can check out with new products and Pre-Loved items together. Shopify owns the order and payment. Encored tracks each matching Pre-Loved item as its own sale; regular retail items stay in your normal fulfilment workflow.
Read the sale dimensions#

| Payment | Whether payment is pending, paid, refunded, voided or failed |
| Fulfilment | Whether the item awaits shipment, is in transit, delivered or cancelled |
| Inspection | Whether buyer inspection has started, a dispute is open or review has closed |
| Credit | Whether seller credit is pending, ready, issued, reversed or not eligible |
These states describe different parts of one sale. Paid does not mean shipped or credited.
Find the sale#
Use Listings and its sale/shipping filters, or open the Encored sale from the Shopify admin order action or order block. Sale detail shows payment, shipping, inspection, credit and any dispute.
Unique inventory#
A published listing has one unit of inventory. When it sells, Encored archives its Shopify product and retains its records for fulfilment, provenance and finance.
Financial values#
Sale detail distinguishes the agreed Pre-Loved selling price, any retailer-funded discount, customer-paid merchandise amount and seller store credit. Discounts explains why these can differ.
